Lines, Shapes, and Textures.

This week in my Digital Photography I class, our assignment was lines, textures and shapes. I was trying to wait for a sunny day, but after waiting several days, I had to shoot in overcast weather.  I took about 180 photos of just one location. These are the photos that i submitted for critique this week.

Photographer Friend

Keith Krejci is a friend of mine. He worked at Stony Brook University as a professor in the photography department. He has been very informative and helpful with helping me find my footing as a photographer. He helped me purchase my first "real" camera and taught me about important things/ features that are on my camera. We meet regularly down at Cedar Beach in Miller Place, my favorite shooting spot, where he demonstrates the things he taught me.

Keith also shared his photography through his page, Goodeye Photography Gallery, I love to go and look at his photos. They are truly amazing! You should definitely take a look!

Before I go, I just want to say that I will post at least one picture, that I took on my own, every week-- it will not be a picture that I took for an assignment. This week, I wanted to share this particular photo because it was one of my favorites from a shoot I did the other day.
